Specialist Functions is one of the departments in Range Operations and hosts several assignments connected to specialists. Now the Specialist Functions is diversifying its skills, and we are growing to get even closer to the product range.
We are building a new team with diverse competence to take the next step towards our ambition of a more proactive role in creating product compliance, this time specifically for the Indian market. In this role you will be reporting to the Compliance and Requirements Manager for Expanding Markets.
Job Description
In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to lead performance and create engagement and forward movement in the projects. You will set a structure on following the status of the projects and ensure day-to-day the quality of the deliverables from all aspects of projects.You will be a helper and a motivator for the team to engage on progress, positivism and forward movement.
So, what would you do:
- Keeping an up-to-date status of the execution of the projects/tasks for the team, with clarity and great visual support.
- Monitoring of the progress of the agreed timelines towards the set goals and ambitions.
- Securing the range administration for the assigned area and by that securing a high data and information quality in IKEA systems.
- Act like a “spider in the web” and connect with different parts of IKEA’s value chain to ensure projects execution and up to date information in the follow-up documents.
- Responsible for the overall projects/tasks administration within the assigned area.
- Contributing to setting the right performance indicators, with and End-to-End responsibility for the projects and team.
- Follow-up on the set performance indicators, by creating engagement, clarity and communication on the status and gaps.
- Contributing to the fact-based decision making with scenarios and recommendations in projects.
- Contributing to strong collaboration and inclusive climate enabling high performing teams.
- Leading fact-based decision making by giving insights, analytics, scenarios and recommendations.
Qualifications
To succeed & shine in this role, we wish that you:
- IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and you therefore need to be fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Have experience within related fields such as product development, portfolio management, project management.
- Good knowledge of IKEA range management digital solutions and how to utilize them.
- Good knowledge of data visualization, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Know how to set structures for following projects status.
- Know how to perform risk assessments and scenario planning.
- Are curious about other people’s work, respect their point of views and motivate others towards the set goals and ambitions.
- Good knowledge of project management tools and know how tailor apply them to the specific project/teams need.
- Good understanding of the IKEA product range and how IKEA is organized.
