Cisco Security Expert
The client is seeking a Security Consultant with deep expertise in Cisco Security, Palo Alto, and SIEM/SOC consulting. In this role, you will work closely with enterprise clients to design, implement, and optimize security solutions, focusing on firewall configurations, network segmentation, and incident response.
You’ll be a key advisor for security operations teams, ensuring best practices in network security, threat detection, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on security expert who thrives in a customer-facing, high-impact role.
Requirements
🔹 Design and deploy Cisco Security solutions (Firepower, ASA, ISE) and Palo Alto firewalls.🔹 Provide SIEM/SOC advisory and assist clients in threat detection, incident response, and security automation.
🔹 Conduct network security assessments, including IDS/IPS, firewall rule tuning, and segmentation strategies.
🔹 Collaborate with clients to improve security posture, conduct penetration testing, and optimize SIEM & SOAR solutions.
🔹 Lead security workshops, architecture reviews, compliance audits (PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
🔹 Engage with C-level stakeholders and security teams to ensure seamless security integration.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
✔ 5+ years of experience in security consulting, network security, and SIEM/SOC operations.✔ Hands-on experience with Cisco Security technologies (Firepower, ASA, ISE, Umbrella, AMP).
✔ Palo Alto Networks expertise (firewalls, threat prevention, network segmentation).
✔ SIEM/SOC experience (Splunk, LogPoint, IBM QRadar, Elastic SIEM).
✔ Proficiency in IDS/IPS, security automation (SOAR), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
✔ Strong consulting skills – ability to work with enterprise clients, provide tailored solutions.
✔ Fluent in English (Swedish or another Nordic language is a plus).
✔ Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CCIE Security, PCNSE, CISSP, CISM)advantageous.
