Role Overview:

As a Digital Concept Experience Designer, you ensure that we meet all customers of H&M in the best possible way, across all digital channels. The Digital Concept Experience Designer believes in a non-hierarchical culture of transparency, collaboration and joint ownership – working with a focus on value creation, outcome over features and creating growth by meeting the needs of both business and customer and as such delivering exceptional business and customer value.

Responsibilities

As a Digital Concept Experience Designer you are overall responsible for the elevation of design across relevant H&M Group initiatives. values streams and units.

Digital Concept Experience Designers are responsible for a set of activities including:

  • Engaging in initiative identification, definition and creation, with the relevant key stakeholders and across the H&M Group -with the purpose to ensure initiatives are researched, evaluated and mapped towards the customer journey and its key moments.
  • Conducting research, mapping, maintenance and governance of the holistic, digital customer journey.
  • Defining and validating future customer experience visions based on customer insights, business goals & KPIs while taking into account technical possibilities.
  • Developing new value propositions and concepts and validating/iterating these with customers as well as with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitating design sprints and workshops.
  • Supporting the value stream experience directors to identify and set appropriate metrics. Tracking reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics, and turning them into new ideas and improvements.
  • Giving input and ensuring continuous improvement of the Fabric Design System.
  • Overall advocating Customer-centered design solutions.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in concept design, storytelling, design facilitation.
  • Possessing knowledge of the retail industry, customer journey, and customer lifetime value.
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Miro, and User Zoom for user testing.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, user research, user scenarios, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
  • Understanding of brand and identity design, and touchpoints across various platforms (iOS, Android, Web, Digital screens in-store including Check-out).
  • Ability to simplify complexity and facilitate collaborative workshops (e.g., Design Sprints) with stakeholders.
  • Ability to utilize data for decision-making and collaborate with analytics and A/B testers.
  • Being a team player, sharing insights, and understanding business and user needs to translate them into concepts.
  • Collaborating within agile teams to ensure feasibility and its implementation across all value streams.
  • Applying user-centered design principles, problem-solving, design thinking, and design strategy.
  • Conducting trend analysis, benchmarking, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Ability in translating qualitative and quantitative customer data into actionable insights.
