Embedded Software Application Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and verification in HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) environments.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technology roadmaps.
• Create, update, and maintain Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Technical Requirements for relevant nodes.
• Develop and document requirements.
• Create and execute test cases using Automotive tools and processes like CANOe, CANALYZER, Systemweaver or similar.

Skills and Competencies:

• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in embedded HW/SW development within the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety).
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, tools, and processes.
• Good knowledge of ECUs and their functionalities within the area of responsibility.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
• Proven leadership experience (required).
