Junior QA Engineer
THE MISSION
Airmee is one of Europe’s fastest-growing logistics startups, and our tech is what makes us different. We don’t just move parcels; we optimize cities. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be the ultimate gatekeeper of our platform. You’ll ensure that when a courier in Stockholm or Malmö opens our app, it works flawlessly—regardless of GPS drift, poor connectivity, or hardware quirks.
This isn't a "sit-at-a-desk-and-click" role. You will be deeply involved in the lifecycle of our products, testing everything from complex routing logic in our Admin Dashboard to real-time verification features in our mobile apps.
THE ROLE
We are looking for someone who loves the rigors of manual testing. You will work alongside our mobile (iOS/Android) and full-stack teams to catch bugs before they ever reach a courier’s device.
What you’ll do:
- Real-World Testing: Execute manual tests that simulate a courier’s day. You’ll test how our apps handle barcode scanners, camera permissions, and complex logistics flows.
- Proactive Bug Hunting: You won’t just wait for a feature to be finished. You’ll review requirements in Jira and help write test cases before developers start coding, identifying edge cases early.
- Bug Reporting with Precision: When you find a bug, you don’t just say "it's broken." You provide logs, reproduction steps, and screenshots that make it easy for our developers to fix it fast.
- Cross-Platform Validation: Ensure our features work perfectly across both iOS and Android, preventing critical regressions.
- Detail-Obsessed: You’re the person who spots a UI misalignment or a logic error that everyone else missed.
- A "Pessimistic Optimist": You hope the code works, but you test it as if it’s definitely going to break.
- Tech-Curious: You have some experience with manual testing (Web/Mobile) and are familiar with tools like Jira, Postman, or Chrome DevTools.
- Logistics Enthusiast: You’re interested in how the "magic" of same-day delivery happens—from the retailer through the warehouses to the final doorstep.
- A Great Communicator: You are comfortable speaking up and pushing back on a release if the quality standards aren't met. We value "Shift-Left" quality where your input is heard early.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must-Have:
- A basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience writing clear, logical test plans or user stories.
- Hands-on experience using real iOS and Android devices for testing.
- Excellent communication skills in English (our working language)
Nice-to-Have (The "Bonus" Skills):
- Experience testing hardware integrations (like Bluetooth scanners).
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
