About the Assignment
You will help build and operate the data and ML foundation behind AI-driven products. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of data engineering and machine learning engineering, where you will create the pipelines, transformation layers, and production workflows needed to make data and models reliable at scale.
You will work in a modern Google Cloud Platform environment with a strong focus on scalability, data quality, maintainability, and cost efficiency. Together with data scientists, ML engineers, and product stakeholders, you will turn raw data and ML use cases into production-ready solutions.If you enjoy working across the full flow from data ingestion to deployed models, this assignment offers a strong mix of technical depth and real product impact.
Job Description- You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and related services.
- You will prepare high-quality datasets through data wrangling, cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation workflows.
- You will develop and optimize data models in dbt to support both analytics and machine learning workloads.
- You will drive data quality, monitoring, and performance improvements across datasets and pipelines.
- You will build and deploy ML workflows in Vertex AI, covering training, pipelines, and production deployment.
- You will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers to create end-to-end solutions that are production ready and maintainable.
- You will help shape scalable data and ML architectures that support long-term growth and operational stability.
- You will apply modern MLOps practices for deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of ML models.
- Strong foundation in data engineering.
- Strong experience with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Cloud Composer.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and strong SQL skills.
- Knowledge of ELT/ETL patterns, data modeling, and data quality practices.
- Experience with Vertex AI for training, pipelines, and deployment.
- Proficiency in Python and building production ML pipelines.
- Understanding of MLOps fundamentals and basic CI/CD.
- Experience with Docker and cloud-native development.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
