[ref. d24083220] DevOps Engineer to Codic Consulting
On behalf of Codic, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join an agile and highly collaborative platform team in central Gothenburg. In this role, you'll work at the heart of a modern cloud-native development environment—building and refining the tools that help development teams deliver faster, safer, and smarter.
About the role
You’ll be part of a tight-knit team that owns and evolves a CI/CD platform built on AWS and Kubernetes. The team’s mission is to make cloud services easily accessible for product teams so they can focus on creating value, not navigating infrastructure.
Your daily work will involve infrastructure development, automation, and close collaboration with application teams. The setup is technically advanced and fast-moving, with lots of room for growth and exploration.
What you will do in this role- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab
- Support internal teams and enable secure, scalable delivery practices
- Pair and mob program with teammates for shared understanding and code quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement and platform evolution
Who you are
You enjoy simplifying complexity, automating the tedious, and building systems that empower others. You’re a team player who thrives in collaborative environments and values learning as much as delivery. Whether solving infrastructure issues or helping others troubleshoot their build pipelines—you bring a helpful attitude and strong engineering instincts.
Must-Have qualifications- Professional experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD practices
- Strong skills in Linux and scripting (e.g. Python, Bash)
- A DevOps or DevSecOps mindset with a passion for automation
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab and secure development workflows
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise
- Insights into cloud security and compliance best practices
- Background in software development
- Exposure to agile ways of working
About the team and setup
You’ll join a friendly team of experienced engineers working closely with global product teams. The tech stack includes GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and Bash—and the setup supports pair programming and shared ownership.
This is a hybrid role with on-site presence expected on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Additional on-site days are optional based on your preference.
More information- The assignment starts after the summer
- Location: Gothenburg (hybrid)
- Swedish citizenship or permanent residence permit is required
