Assembly Test and Verification Engineer

Role description

We are looking for an Assembly Test and Verification Engineer to assemble, integrate, and verify prototypes and products for advanced mechatronic systems. You will be involved across the product lifecycle—from early design phases through testing and release—working closely with design, quality, and production stakeholders.

This assignment suits someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, structured testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Assemble and integrate prototypes and products, combining mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and software components
• Execute safety, functional, and performance testing at component and system level
• Support test/verification activities from early development through release readiness
• Contribute to test processes, test documentation, and continuous improvement of lab ways of working
• Troubleshoot physical hardware issues and support root-cause investigations
• Support lab operations related to rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing activities
• Mentor and support other engineers within the lab/test environment

• Master’s degree in Engineering (or other relevant academic background)
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Assembly Test and Verification
• Broad technical understanding of mechatronic systems
• Experience assembling and testing equipment where multiple disciplines are integrated (mechanical, electrical, software)
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on troubleshooting skills for physical hardware
• Ability to thrive in early-stage development and navigate a large, complex organization
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new techniques and working methods
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experience working in prototype or lab environments
• Experience contributing to improvements of test processes and lab operations
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
