Senior Fullstack Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help build the technology powering the future of board recruitment.
At Boardway, we’re creating specialized AI and search technology for board and advisory recruitment. Finding the right board member requires much more than matching skills to a job description. Leadership experience, industry expertise, board composition, strategic fit, and long-term company needs all influence the outcome.Generic recruiting software wasn’t built for these challenges.
You’ll work across the entire product stack, building search, matching, analytics, agentic workflows, and AI-powered experiences that help companies discover and evaluate exceptional board talent. As an early member of the engineering team, you’ll have significant influence on the product, technology, and how we build the company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Own product features end-to-end, from initial concept to production deployment
- Build AI-powered search, matching, analytics, agentic workflows, and decision-support systems
- Design and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines
- Build intuitive user experiences and help shape the evolution of the product
- Improve the architecture, performance, and reliability of the platform as we scale
- 8+ years of experience building production software
- Strong experience with TypeScript across frontend and backend development
- Strong experience with React, React Router, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience building and shipping products powered by LLMs, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and agentic systems
- Experience designing scalable APIs, data models, and distributed systems
- Strong product and frontend instincts with an eye for UX and user experience
- Comfortable working in existing codebases and improving systems over time
- Ability to independently own problems, make decisions, and deliver solutions
