Founding Sales / First Sales Hire
Are you driven, curious, and excited by the idea of building something from the ground up?
One of our clients — an early-stage tech company within AI-powered surveillance solutions for construction sites — is looking for their very first sales hire.
The company is developing smart technology that helps construction companies improve safety, prevent theft, and gain better control on-site. Now they are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the commercial side and grow together with the founders.
This is not a traditional sales role.
This is a founding sales opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating relationships, and building business from scratch.
You will:
- Prospect and open new accounts within the construction industry
- Book and run meetings with site managers and decision-makers
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to closed deal
- Help shape the sales strategy and go-to-market approach
- Work closely with the founders and have real influence on the company’s growth
This role is ideal for someone with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, and creating opportunities.
Requirements
We Think You Might Be Someone Who- Has experience within B2B sales
- Enjoys outbound sales and new business
- Understands the construction industry and its culture
- Is relationship-driven but also highly proactive
- Likes responsibility and working independently
- Wants more than “just another sales job”
- Experience selling into the construction industry
- Existing network within construction
- Background from similar industries such as equipment, workwear, services, or technical solutions
- Experience from competitors or adjacent markets
