Our Mission

We unleash the potential of organisations through the science of board effectiveness, building better businesses and benefiting society.

Our Engineering team builds, maintains, and improve the software that our clients rely on. Our work ensures that Board Intelligence product suite is efficient, scalable, and capable of adapting to changing customer needs.

This role offers full-time working based in our Central Stockholm office.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Windows App Engineer to join our dynamic Mobile Team. Your primary responsibility will be to help evolve and stabilise our UWP-based application by improving test coverage, adding new features, and ensuring high-quality accessible user experience.

You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product, Design, and Support, to deliver a secure and user-focused application that interacts with backend systems via APIs.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Develop new features and maintain existing functionality in a UWP application
  • Improve test coverage and application stability (unit and integration testing)
  • Implement responsive, accessible UI based on designs
  • Debug, refactor, and resolve issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure all features are fully tested
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions
  • Support planning and estimation during sprint ceremonies
  • Document complex flows and technical decisions for future maintenance
  • Help maintain and improve GitHub CI pipelines
  • Occasionally present technical decisions or updates to non-technical stakeholders
Tech Stack
  • Languages/Frameworks: C#, .NET, UWP (experience in WPF or WinUI is a plus)
  • Testing: MSTest
  • Database: SQLite
  • Tools: Visual Studio 2022, Jira, GitHub, GitHub Workflows, Microsoft Teams
  • AI Assistants: GitHub Copilot, Claude Code

Requirements

We’re looking for someone that has a hunger to change our working environment for the better, driving performance from our people and protecting our culture and values to make sure we remain a caring, entrepreneurial and client-first workplace.

We’re open-minded on the background someone may have coming into this role, but things that could help a candidate to be successful would be:

  • Proven experience building Windows mobile apps, ideally with UWP or WinUI
  • Comfortable with fullstack development in a Windows environment
  • Familiarity with modern UI design and accessibility best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges independently
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Agile Culture: Daily standups, regular sprint planning and refinement sessions
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to explain technical concepts to various audiences
  • Interest in continuous improvement, new technologies, and scalable architecture

It could also be nice to have:

  • Experience with WinUI3 migration projects
  • Previous contribution to CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Agile development and ceremonies
  • Prior experience supporting high-traffic or user-facing applications

Benefits

We pride ourselves on our great working environment and package. Here’s some of what’s on offer:

  • 25 days of Vacation with Advanced Vacation days
  • Wellness benefits including a wellness hour per week for exercise and up to SEK 2,000 per year for wellness activities
  • Parental leave with 90% salary coverage for up to 6 months
  • Comprehensive insurance including Group Life, TFA Safety and Travel
