Fullstack developer
Confect is a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform that helps eCommerce brands and agencies turn their product feeds into high-performing catalog ads across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and more. We're the tool for brands that take their product advertising seriously, and we're scaling fast with many big international clients.
🌟 THE ROLE: As a Fullstack Developer, you'll work across our entire stack and have real influence on what we ship.
You'll touch the backend and the frontend that our customers use every day to build their catalog ads in, and everything in between.
This isn't a role where you pick up tickets and execute. We're looking for someone who thinks like a product builder, not just a programmer.
You'll scope your own work, push back on bad ideas, and care about quality the same way our customers care about their ad performance.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:- Backend Work: Build and maintain our Python services (FastAPI, Celery)
- Frontend Work: Build the interfaces our customers use to design and manage their catalog ads. We use Angular today.
- Scope and Ship: Take a problem, figure out the right shape of the solution, and build it. You won't always get a perfect spec.
- Improve the Product: Notice the rough edges, the confusing flows, and fix them. We want someone who cares about making the product better.
- Performance and Infra (Bonus): If you enjoy digging into servers, performance optimization, and debugging the weird stuff, there's a lot of room to own that side too.
- Collaborate Across the Company: Work directly with product, design, commercial teams, customers and the founders. Short feedback loops, no layers in between.
- Fullstack Mindset: You want to work on both sides of the stack.
- Python Backend: Comfortable with Python and frameworks like FastAPI and Celery, or close equivalents you can transfer from.
- JavaScript / TypeScript Frontend: You can build real frontend features. Angular experience is a plus but not required, Vue, Next, or React also work if you're strong in them.
- Quality and Organization: You care about how things are built, not just whether they work. You think about edge cases, naming, structure, and what the next developer will see.
- Product Builder: You've built something yourself, whether a side project, a job in a scale-up, a studio job in a startup, or something you've shipped end to end. You scope your own work and think about the user, not just the code.
- Hungry over Senior: Years of experience matter less to us than how you think and how much you care. Recently graduated with real signal that you can build is just as interesting as ten years on a CV.
- Curious Background Welcome: Designer who moved into development? Self-taught? Took an unusual path into building? Tell us about it.
- Infra Curiosity (Bonus): Experience with servers, performance optimization, and debugging production issues is a plus.
If you've built things you're proud of and care how they turn out in the wild, we want to talk.
🌐 WHY US?- Real Impact: Your code ships to thousands of e-commerce people running big ad budgets. What you build shows up in their results.
- Fast-Moving Environment: Small team, no 17 layers of management. You'll work directly with the product and have visibility on everything.
- Build, Don't Just Code: You'll scope, design, and own features. This is a product role as much as an engineering role.
- Fully Remote: We are fully remote
- Strong Foundation: You're joining a product customers genuinely love, with a clear roadmap and plenty of interesting problems to dig into.
- Salary: We offer a competitive salary that match your experience
