Your role
The Special Mission & Regional Aircraft (SMRA) department continues to grow and we now need to strengthen the project management team with another couple of talented and design and design management subproject managers for our exciting GlobalEye projects.We welcome you to an inspiring and expansive business full of opportunities. As a subproject manager, you are responsible for one of several subprojects included in the main project. The role involves organizing, planning and leading the implementation of the project from start to finish and your duties include the following tasks:
- Establish project plans and steer the project towards its goals and objectives
- Manage project finance
- Work to secure the project's resource needs
- Manage communication with the project's various stakeholders
- Active work with risks and opportunities
- Ensure a good project climate with good cooperation and motivated project members
You will drive the project forward in close cooperation with other roles within the department, such as engineers, buyers, hangar personnel, technical writers, flight test staff and in close dialogue with the other subprojects.
As a design project manager you lead our talented team of engineers in the work of producing all design documentation required for the modification of the aircraft. The design management project manager role deals with leadership of a group of chief engineers, customer requirement managers, airworthiness/certification managers, configuration managers and more in order to facilitate and reach the project goals.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a strong drive, commitment and curiosity, who wants to work and grow as a project manager in an exciting and expansive organization characterized by a supportive community where we together achieve the department's goals.
As a person, you are social and enjoy leading the work. You are collaborative, communicative and have the ability of getting people to follow your lead with enthusiasm and passion. You are structured, efficient, make things happen and are committed to meeting the project milestones.
We are looking for someone who has at least a few years of experience in project management and with a background from a technical line of business and preferably the aircraft industry. We prefer that you have a technical degree from a university or college, but it is not a requirement if you have a solid experience from project management and the right work background.You communicate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply
