Our Engineering Team
Our Engineering team builds, maintains, and improve the software that our clients rely on. Our work ensures that Board Intelligence product suite is efficient, scalable, and capable of adapting to changing customer needs.
This role is an on-site position based in our Central Stockholm office.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Associate Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You'll work within an Agile team, learning from experienced engineers, and play a key part in developing, testing, and maintaining applications. A focus on writing clean code, problem-solving, and a desire to learn new technologies is essential.
What will you be responsible for?- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software features in, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or React
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code & participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment
- Contribute to improving development processes
- Continuously learn and expand technical skills
Requirements

We’re open-minded on the background someone may have coming into this role, but things that could help a candidate to be successful would be:
- Relevant education or experience in Computer Science or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of programming principles and at least one language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- A commitment to writing clean, well-structured code
- An aptitude for learning new tools and technologies
