Om oss
Teamets primära uppgift är att skydda produkten på resan från fabrik till slutkund, en resa som dessutom ska vara effektiv utifrån ett logistiskt och miljömässigt perspektiv. Förpackningen är våra kunders första kontakt med sin nya produkt och den ska representera Husqvarna som varumärke och förmedla den stolthet vi känner för våra produkter.
Du kommer att tillhöra ett team på fem personer som utvecklar och driver emballagelösningar för Husqvarna divisionen. Teamet startades upp år 2020 och levererar ett mycket uppskattat resultat till organisationen. Vi fortsätter nu vår spännande resa där du kommer få möjligheten att påverka men också att göra verklig skillnad genom din insats.Du kommer att vara delaktig- och få insyn i hela flödet fram till slutkund och därmed se resultatet av ditt arbete.
Arbetsuppgifter
As a packaging engineer with us, you will become one of our experts in packaging development and optimization of packaging solutions. You will be part of new projects within the Husqvarna division (Europe), as well as work with the improvement of the existing range. You also have an ongoing exchange with all Husqvarna's global resources for packaging development. Your duties include:
- Develop well-functioning overall packaging solutions that protect the product, give the customer a good first impression and are optimal from a logistics point of view.
- Construct packaging or prototypes (both independently as well as in close collaboration with our suppliers), in ArtiosCAD
- Improve and optimize existing packaging solutions to achieve a lower climate footprint, lower costs, and increase quality and customer benefit.
- Maintain an expert knowledge in packaging development and keep up to date with developments in the industry, as well as with our suppliers

Your profile
We believe that you have a genuine interest in solution-oriented and inventive packaging development with the same requirements as we meet. You have worked with this for a few years, but may also have a little shorter experience. However, an important starting point is that you master ArtiosCAD well, are structured and can drive your agenda yourself.
To succeed in this role, you like to discuss technical solutions with colleagues, sometimes in a workshop format around the product. You thrive best when you are challenged in your everyday life with great opportunity to design creative solutions for a good whole.
Shell requirements:
- Relevant education (or equivalent experience)
- Solid experience of relevant packaging development in corrugated board
- ArtiosCAD
- Knowledge of different packaging materials and production methods
- Understanding of optimization of packaging against the logistics flow (climate/cost)
- Good ability to present your results and visualize solutions
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish, and very good English
Meritorious:
- Knowledge about wooden packaging
Location: We work on site at our office in Huskvarna 4 days a week. On Fridays, it is possible to work from home.
