We are now recruiting a CFO to join Klättermusen.

Since 1975 Klättermusen has been a pioneer in making refined Scandinavian Mountaineering Equipment. The CFO is a key member of Klättermusen’s executive senior manager team, responsible for financial stewardship, strategic planning, and operational excellence across the global KM group. This role partners closely with the CEO and COO to ensure sustainable growth, profitability and cash flow generation, as well as legal compliance while safeguarding the company’s values and long-term vision.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute global financial strategies aligned with Klättermusen’s positioning and growth objectives.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling for all regions.
  • Group Reporting: Perform board and internal financial reporting to follow up and revise financial targets and KPIs set.
  • Financial Data and Systems: Ownership of financial module in our ERP, Business Central and our BI-tool, Qlik. Continuously lead new data integration as well as process automation to improve quality and reduce risk factors.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to international accounting standards, local and group audits, tax regulations, transfer pricing compliance and internal policies.
  • Cash Flow & Capital Management: Optimize working capital, treasury operations, currency hedging and liquidity uses across our global entities.
  • Operational & Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team across multiple geographies, with main base in Åre, Beijing and Seoul.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Align financial practices and standards across all geographies, to allow streamlined group reporting as well as processes of accounting, localized payroll, tax and cash management.
  • Legal and Contractual Ownership: Lead new market entry with entity setup, partnerships and act as key stakeholder with main suppliers to align cash flow management strategies with legal contracts in place.
  • Risk & Sustainability: Identify and mitigate financial risks and ownership of ESG reporting initiatives.

The experience you’ll bring to the role is:

  • 10+ years in senior finance roles within global or multi-entity organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, international tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, M&A, and cross-border financial operations.
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Strategic thinker with operational rigor.
  • Excellent communication skills for board-level and investor relations.
  • Tech-savvy with ERP (Business Central) and BI (Qlik) tools.

The position is a full-time position based in Stockholm or Åre, with start as soon as possible.
