Jeppesen, A Boeing Company is looking for a Software Application Development Manager. The position will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden in our newly renovated office at Odinsgatan.

About the position

The Software Development and Advanced Technology department is now looking for a Line Manager who want to join us and be a part of driving a transition journey. We are on a journey to take our solutions into the cloud and at the same time continue to explore what modern technology such as AI and Quantum Computing can do to support our customers in the best possible way.

Our development teams build world-leading optimization solutions targeting professional users as well as web-based solutions for airline personnel.

As a line manager, you will be joining a team of 10 line managers and you will be leading 3-4 teams and about 15-20 team members. Both the leadership team and the development teams use agile principles to plan and perform their work.

Position Responsibilities:

As a line manager you will:

  • Be accountable for your team's deliveries and performance
  • Support your teams when they innovate, develop and maintain our software
  • Coach both teams and team members to help them perform at their best
  • Work closely with product management and the neighboring implementation department
  • Be an active member of a leadership team that collaborates on a daily basis
  • Drive continuous improvement across teams and departments
  • Play an active part in our technical and cultural transformation journey
  • Help create a workplace that gives you and your colleagues energy and make Jeppesen the best workplace in town

Required qualifications:

  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
