Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure that SOP’s and WI’s are followedTrain employees in SOP’s and WI’sEnsure development of employees (Technical, SOP’S, WI’s, Team development and behaviours)Suggest improvements and ensure improvements are being implemented when decidedSupervise and support employeesAssigns tasks and responsibilities to employees, as the employer’s representativeMake sure check in, pulse meetings, other meetings are held as plannedFollow up shift performance and act on deviationsCalls in replacements in the event of an employee call-in or no-show.Communicates with other shifts to ensure good handover and standardizationCommunicate and cooperate with support functions to improve manufacturingAdhere to and enforce company policies and guidelines.Enforce the proper disciplinary measures when employees fail to adhere to company policyRecruit for own teamDevelop a team spirit that creates energy, encourages compliance with company standards and employment guidelinesFollow up on performance metrics (competence matrix) for each team member and then work with team members to make sure that all metrics are metParticipate and run the work team together with the manager.
The duties consist of, among other things, production management, planning, quality, environmental and work environment work.Responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out according to current instructions and that the safety regulations are followed.Process area responsibility and coordinates the work with subcontractors, such as inspections and subcontracting workTo ensure that our quality assurance systems such as 5S maintain an ongoing higher standard.Qualifications/education/experienceHigh school diplomaExperience in manufacturingLeadership or management experiencePersonal success factorsChallenges, in a bold way, current behaviours and ways of workingClose to employees, follow up, encourage, very good in feed forward and feedbackVery good in empowering people to make people actRole modelling, being the safe and healthy role modelCreate team spirit, sense of belonging and relatedness in the teamThe ability to communicate to a multidisciplinary, as well as multinational, workforce is essential.Strong verbal, written communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with all levels of employees and managementApply with CV in English or your complete LinkedIn profile.Full time employment, fixed salary.Planned starting date is ASAP.
