Technical Project Manager
Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an alternative Technical Project Manager to join our Västerås team.In joining us for 12-18 months, you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories.
Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Overseeing a strategic segment of the Drei factory program across all project phases: Design, Procurement, Commissioning, and Startup of process equipmentManaging project teams and Northvolt partners, ensuring effective communication, technical clarity, and monitoring of schedules and costsHandling interface management with Construction Team (CSA, MEP, Clean & Dry room) for equipment installation timelinePlanning and coordinating basic and detailed engineering design, proactively addressing issues that may impact schedule and costsMonitoring and ensuring Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental performanceWe believe that you have:Master's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or material scienceExtensive project leadership experience in dynamic industrial environmentsSpecialized in industrialization projects and machine/equipment conceptsProficient in production facilities and utilities with a focus on qualityExcellent English communication skillsStrong stakeholder management and analytical skillsAbility to guide the team in time management and foster a productive cultureAgile mindset and experience in methodology beneficialApply with CV in English or your complete LinkedIn profile.Full time employment, fixed salary.Planned starting date is ASAP.
